1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the QuickBytes service ("Service"), including the QuickBytes.exchange website, API, or any associated software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Service is operated by QuickBytes ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the United States.

2. Service Description

QuickBytes provides a micropayment processing service that facilitates cryptocurrency transactions using the Algorand blockchain. The Service enables vendors to receive payments and buyers to make payments for digital content, goods, or services.

3. Eligibility

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using the Service, you represent that you are capable of entering into a binding contract.

4. Fees and Payments

4.1 Transaction Fees

• We charge a fee of $0.01 (one cent USD) per transaction.
• All transactions must be between $0.02 and $10.00 USD.
• Currency conversions from USD to ALGO are based on rates from CoinMarketCap.
• Exchange rates are updated every 5 minutes.

4.2 Refunds

• All transactions are final and non-refundable.
• Any disputes must be resolved directly between the buyer and vendor.
• Transaction verification is available on the Algorand blockchain using the provided transaction ID.

5. Transaction Processing

5.1 Transaction Verification

• All successful transactions are recorded on the Algorand blockchain.
• Transaction IDs are stored in the blockchain notes.
• Users should retain their transaction ID as proof of purchase.
• Transactions can be verified using wallet IDs and transaction IDs.

5.2 Security

• All communication with QuickBytes.exchange is encrypted using industry-standard SSL.
• Transaction security is provided by the Algorand network.

6. Data Collection and Privacy

We collect only the minimum data required to process transactions:

• Wallet addresses
• Transaction amounts
• Optional payee names and item descriptions when provided
• No cookies are used except as necessary to facilitate transactions
• No analytics data is collected

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Service Rights

• All rights to the QuickBytes service, including branding, logos, and software, are reserved.
• The QuickBytes WebPay library is available under the MIT license.
• The QuickBytes software is provided as a service only.

7.2 Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
• Use the Service for any illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent any service limitations or restrictions

8. Service Availability and Support

8.1 Availability

• We strive to maintain continuous service availability but make no guarantees.
• The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or factors outside our control.
• We accept no liability for service interruptions or unavailability.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service:

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We provide the Service "as is" without any warranties
• We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service
• We are not responsible for disputes between buyers and vendors
• Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific transaction in question

11. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
• Block users who misuse the Service
• Terminate or suspend access without notice for any reason

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted at https://quickbytes.exchange. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
